1. Principality Stadium to Cardiff Castle - 1.5 miles / 2.4 kms
From the towering national stadium of Wales make your way round the heart of the old city centre with buildings bursting with charm. Walk slowly along a couple of Cardiff’s unique arcades – home to unusual shops, eateries, and places to drink – or pop into Cardiff’s fabulous covered market. There’s also the medieval church of St John’s, stately buildings and flowered gardens, and Cardiff Castle – a must-see for any visitor!

2. Bute Park to Alexandra Gardens - 1 mile / 1.6 kms
From one corner of the enchanting Bute Park, with contrasting views of Cardiff Castle, this walk soon takes you into a different world - of dramatic, historic buildings – the County Court, City Hall, the National Museum of Wales, Cardiff University. But there’s also a quieter side – a small park, once home to an Eisteddfod, and Alexandra Gardens with its beautiful flowers, trees and the stunning Welsh National War Memorial.

Walk 1 has 21 clues & walk 2 has 14 - both with detailed directions to follow. There are interesting stories about important people, places & events along the way; detailed instructions on how to find a clue if you're stuck; and a comprehensive map with the routes marked on.
