From an intriguing network of seven atmospheric streets joined at the unique Seven Dials, this walk wends its way to Covent Garden via an eclectic mix of independent boutiques, luxury hotels, famous theatres, independent restaurants, cafés, bars and pubs, and stalls selling street food from a variety of countries. Marvel too at the Royal Opera House and ancient churches, then end your walk at the amazing Covent Garden Market and its vibrant piazza.

Starting at Covent Garden Market, amidst its myriad of street performers, this walk explores historic streets with unique character, along the Strand and down to the Embankment. Next pass some grand and opulent offices, hotels and theatres, and the hidden-away Queen’s Chapel, before back to the bustling Strand, and Somerset House, an iconic neo-classical building set around one of the most beautiful courtyards in Europe.

Each booklet has a page dedicated to the history of the town and 2 pages summarising each walk with suggestions on what to visit along the way. Walk 1 has 21 clues & walk 2 has 14 - both with detailed directions to follow. There are interesting stories about important people, places & events along the way; detailed instructions on how to find a clue if you're stuck; and a comprehensive map with the routes marked on.
