There are glorious beaches, historic harbours, fishing boats, old galleons, a lighthouse, lobster pots, lifeboats, fish shops, fish and chip shops, seagulls and yachts. There are ancient streets and ancient buildings, funfairs, a sea life centre, a noble Spa dating back over a hundred years, tramways linking cliff tops to the beach, and everywhere the sight, sound and smell of the sea!

From here explore a wooded area with a warren of paths before arriving at a quiet and elegant street in the shape of a crescent. Next plunge into the new town, with a host of compelling, unusual shops, before
ending at the top of the Tramway - take a tram down to the seafront and go for a paddle!

"Been to Scarborough loads of times - always to the beach with the kids. Now they've grown up a bit we thought it was time to find out what more the town had to offer, and your walks really hit the spot. We loved the way the walks wound around the town and at each turn there was something new to discover. I don't know how you did it, but it was just right - well done!"
"My family and I have just returned from Whitby and Scarborough and have enjoyed the walks from Curious About. Although my husband and I didn't do the entire length of each walk my children (30, 31 and 32 lol!) did! They really enjoyed finding out the different information in the booklets and filled in the answers as they went round. It was a great way to spend two afternoons in Whitby and Scarborough."
