1. Pittville Pump Room to Promenade - 1.75 miles / 2.8 kms
This walk starts at Pittville Pump Room, “the jewel of Cheltenham’s Regency architecture” and flows down through landscaped parks, ponds and lakes to delightful Regency Squares. Soon it’s into the heart of the town to circle the magnificent Minster, Cheltenham’s most ancient building, before passing the Brewery Quarter, a stylish synagogue, the elusive River Chelt, and finally the Promenade, picture of elegance.

2. Promenade to Town Hall - 1 mile / 1.6 kms
From Cheltenham's famous Promenade, dating back to 1818 at the height of the Regency period, when the avenue of elms and horse chestnut trees was first planted, this walk takes you up past the illustrious Ladies’ College to Montpellier, home to high class shops, bars and eateries. Absorb the atmosphere then cross the enchanting Imperial Gardens to finish in front of Cheltenham’s strikingly stunning Town Hall.

Walk 1 has 21 clues & walk 2 has 14 - both with detailed directions to follow. There are interesting stories about important people, places & events along the way; detailed instructions on how to find a clue if you're stuck; and a comprehensive map with the routes marked on.
